Dear students, parents, teachers, & friends,

I am delighted and honoured that I am privileged to share my thoughts regarding education in our institution, which is dedicated at preparing real human beings out of our dear students. We have always thought of utilizing the total potential within us and converting it into the kinetic form to meet the need for excellence in education on a priority basis, so that the school can truly participate in the proper formation of the nation.

Now, keeping that purpose in mind, the first role of education in schools should be to inculcate nationalism in children. To do so, the school must have a clear vision of what it wants out of its students, who are the future of our country. The first step to that effort is to take very special care in the moral development of the students. it is like the development of their soul.

Our motto "towards the Light" is at the heart of everything we do at the school. We aim to not just impart knowledge to the students, but also to inculcate in them - wisdom, compassion and a humanitarian spirit. We have a multi-cultural student population; hence we teach children the importance of tolerance and respecting each other's culture. Discipline, values and integrity are the very foundation of this school. According to Swami Vivekananda, education is the process by which character is formed, strength of mind is increased, and intellect is sharpened, as a result of which one can stand on one's own feet. It gives me great pleasure to inform you that many proactive measures have been taken by the RVIEH School Management to give its students the best overall education in the most congenial and healthy environment, so that Swami Vivekananda's vision can be fulfilled. From the humble beginning of just a few students in its inception, the school is now imparting education to 700 students. In order that the children are provided with latest facilities, the management is constantly upgrading the school infrastructure such as separate laboratories for physics, chemistry and biology, Smart Classes, Library with 4000 books and insta-reference smart board, round the clock infirmary, boarders' entertainment corner with smart television and smart sound system and many other sports facilities. Technology aided learning is an integral part of the school curriculum which has helped the students to go beyond the confines of the class room. The School is a pride to students in the locality and it plays a commendable role in imparting Discipline and Decorum among the students. It has been our endeavour to bring in the best, provide the latest methodology to ensure our young children to grow up and develop all round activities, contributing good and skilled citizens to the nation. It is the commitment by the Management and the faculty to make the learning environment conducive and encouraging. School set the highest standards of academic achievement, intellectual growth, ethical awareness & behaviour, sportsmanship & other good qualities to our students. Apart from the academic ventures, a variety of co-curricular activities are also conducted. The institution aims at a comprehensive development of the child with accent on mental, moral & physical well-being. All pedagogical and infrastructural changes were possible due to the continuous efforts of the members of the School Managing Committee, the Principal, Vice-Principal, Teachers, staff and the administrative team at School who have in response to the emerging needs and co-operation have brought about this transformation in the school. The perpetual energy, movement and enthusiasm permeate the atmosphere at St. RVIEHS Chakulia. We are a school with a difference! We value individualism, creativity and innovation and strive to nurture them in our students. Our mission is to continue to do what we have always done: develop this school and the students with integrity and values; also, to give our students the best opportunities and the best all-round education. Our vision is to produce conscientious, smart and confident citizens of India who will go out into the world and make us proud.
