SCHOOL ACTIVITIES

The school provides opportunities to every child for the physical, moral and mental development and with this end in view the house system has been introduced and all the co-curricular and sports activities organised among the four houses in the school. The four houses are - RED, YELLOW, GREEN AND BLUE. These are organised both by house incharge and house master with the student. In order to enhance the skill and knowledge of the student the school has also Provided 8 - different clubs - (i) Science and Math (ii) English Literature (iii) Art & Craft (iv) General knowledge (v) Music and Dance (vi) Martial Art (vii) Scout & Guide (viii) Yoga. The teachers led the clubs to promote social artistic and sporting activities outside of normal school house. The distributions of the student in the clubs are house on their interest and efficiency. The registration of the student enrolment in the clubs takes place at the beginning of the new session. Each club has the maximum strength of 70tudents. Students must note that the final selection for the registration in the club will be done by the school authority only. The student should urge the choices for the selection in the club.

Games & Sports

At RVIEHS, importance is given to sport and other extra-curricular activities as to studies. We provide a congenial and healthy environment to the students to know, understand and learn the facts of sports and games. It helps them to become a good sportsman with the true sportsman spirit. To develop a competitive spirit among the students, our school has opted sports and games as a subject.

House system is strengthened and senior students are given responsibilities in day to day administrative work. This immensely helps them to shoulder the responsibilities assigned to them with confidence and interest. Students experience many practical facts. Student and teachers are divided in four house : Red, Blue, Green and Yellow The entire activities have been scheduled to be conducted month wise. House masters and House Mistress are sole responsible for organizing events on various grounds systematically and with total discipline.

Students are trained gravely to excel their best in the field of games and sports. Coach and students toil themselves to shine brightly on the map of the nation.

Karate Classes

One of the most ancient arts, Karate has been opted by our school as a regular course for the symbol of bravery and self defense of the students. This training is very essential for us in this modern world. Especially for the female, it is a boon as their self protection. The frequent and regular practice of this art enables our body to remain fit and free from malady. Apart from this, this art can be availed in the field of sports.

The students are trained regularly here by our well qualified and experienced trainers. Moreover, they are provided with uniform and encouraged to participate in various competitions such as state levels and national levels.

By the deep devoted co-operation of school and their own hard labor and practice, the students are bringing name and fame to the school and to themselves as well.

Music & Dance

"All the world's a stage and all the men and women merely players."
These lines by Shakespeare bring out the essence of human life.
We at RVIEHS strongly believe in synchronization of the academic and the cultural part in a student. The music and dance department of the school endeavors to bring about this harmony. The school has got separate halls specially made to create an aura of dance and music.

The dance department reflects every movement and gesture made by the dancer along with various Indian classical and semi classical dance forms like Kathak, Bharatnatyam and Folkdance students are given the opportunity to learn western dance forms also. Exposure is given to the students through participation in various competitions. Hand in hand with the dance department is the music department. Music is a kind of magic which mesmerizes our senses. RVIEHS is the only place in your area where you find a fusion of the Indian and Western music.

Behind every success there is hard work and this holds true in RVIEHS also. The dedicated and devoted teachers of this department are the pillars who support and strengthen the creativity of the children. Dance and music are not just a means of entertainment but something that touches our heart and embraces our soul.

Yoga

It has been misfortune of India that the Indians did not admire the Indian knowledge and philosophy and had been blind following the western ways. The foreigners identified and adopted these scattered knowledge's and benefited. One of this forgotten Indian knowledge is "Y O G A". The foreigners adopted yoga and benefited themselves but could not understand it thoroughly.

It is fruitless effort to define YOGA in a single sentence. YOGA means to attach or extend. It is to attach the soul to the over soul (GOD); to extend mental and physical strength; to extend age and vital-power. YOGA means to remove the boundary of ego and attach the psyche to the infinity. The only goal or aim of YOGA is salvation "MOKSHA". The origin of YOGA is lord Shiva.

Our school has opted YOGA as a regular course for the students. The students are trained properly and regularly by our well experienced teachers. These well trained students have been performing excellently at various competitions such as state and national levels time by time. Their feat are bringing name and fame to the school.
